How to, Join KIP
Student Membership
How to apply?
1. All you are required to do is fill in this membership application form. (Click here to download, pdf application form)
2. Application form to be signed by two corporate members in good standing
3. Attach your admission letter, copy of the student ID, passport size photo and payment of Ksh 1000 (500 annual subscription and Ksh 500 registration fee)
4. Pay through till number 995313

6. Application form to be signed by two corporate members in good standing
7. Attach your degree certificate, passport size photo and payment of Ksh 4750 (3750 annual subscription and Ksh 1000 registration fee)
8. Pay through till number 995313
Corporate Membership
This is through induction. One can become a corporate member in the following ways:
How to apply?
1. Graduates of Accredited Planning Programmes that have held KIP Graduate Membership for the last two (2) years and above are encouraged to apply, by electronically submitting the following;
a. A duly filled KIP Membership Application Form, (sponsored by KIP corporate members)
b. A duly filled KIP Logbook
c. A PowerPoint presentation of a portfolio of at least two planning projects listed in the Logbook.
d. A Copy of relevant academic certificates and testimonials
e. A Copy of CV
f. A passport size photograph
g. Payment of total Ksh 10,000. Being Annual Subscription Fee of Ksh. 7,500 annual subscription fee, Application fee of Ksh 1,000, Induction fee of Ksh 500 and logbook Ksh 1,000 (Mpesa till number 995313, buy goods option)
2. The Registered Planners Supplement considers that applicants have met the basic criteria for recognition as a Professional Planner by the statutory recognition Body, the PPRB. Requirements for induction into corporate membership are as follows;
a. A valid Registration Certificate from the PPRB.
b. A detailed CV
c. A duly filled Application for Membership (sponsored by KIP corporate members)
d. Payment of total Ksh 9,000. Being Annual Subscription Fee of Ksh. 7,500, Application fee of Ksh 1,000, Induction fee of Ksh 500. (Payment via Mpesa Till number 995313 buy goods option)
PS. You don’t need to submit physically in Nairobi. The documents can be scanned and sent to info@kip.or.ke.
