Counties Dialogue and Land Clinics on Land Governance and Land Use Planning
A program organized jointly by The Kenya Institute of Planners and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) under The Digital Land Governance Program funded by the European Union, in partnership with The Council of Governors (COG), National Land Commission (NLC), Ministry of Lands and host counties. The Counties Dialogue aims to hold forums across all counties in Kenya, focusing on strengthening the capacities of land governance and planning actors at the grassroots level.
OBJECTIVES
- To promote inclusive land governance
- To identify county-specific key land issues and providing guiding solutions
- To enhance county-level awareness and practice in planning and development control
- To strengthen citizen participation and professional engagement
