The first phase of Makueni County Dialogue was held on Tuesday, 8th July 2025 at Kusyombunguo Hotel in Wote. An interactive session on pertinent land issues in Makueni, which informed the sub-county land clinics.
Kibwezi East & West Land Clinics
On 9th July 2025, the teams held grassroots clinics at Mtito Andei and Makindu. These involved interactive discussions with land experts, with the most recurrent issues being around management of public land, land adjudication and land transfer.
Kilome & Mbooni Land Clinics
10th July 2025 marked the final day of the Makueni Dialogue, with clinics in Kikima and Kilome. The clinics adopted a one-on-one approach, allowing community members to engage directly with the expert teams. The feedback collected will inform tailored responses and the way forward.
